Avis Car Rental - Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport - IAH - Texas - USA

Went out to the States from London-Heathrow for the F1 motor racing taking place in Austin at the weekend of 23rd/25th Oct. After a 9 and bit hour BA flight and a very unpleasant prolonged US Border Protection session where they didn't understand our hotel and travel arrangements or our willingness to stay far away from the F1 track. Which we like because it's less congested, we can explore eateries and shop to our content. A flawless terminal transfer to the car rental hall all nicely ADA accessible, zero queues at the Avis counter (brilliant!). My particular disability requires a specific type of vehicle for space and height. We got seen to by a lovely lady at the counter, very patient with me, gave me different options and suggested an upgrade to their signature series to a BMW X5 which I was happy with. Found the car lot easy enough and off we went.

I was very pleased on my return (same location) when staff without any prompts offered to drive us straight to the terminal to save me time and effort with luggage etc. This is the second time I have used Avis (different location) and I still love their genuine friendliness and efficiency. Oddly enough my first rental a couple years back was broken into and Avis impressively sorted out a replacement and upgraded me for free in San Antonio then so you can see why we get on well.

Only negative remark I have is the car wasn't washed clean enough in or out.
