Long wait to pick up car
We hired a car through dollar in September from Miami airport. The flight from London ended up landing late due to the weather in Miami. After almost an 11 hour flight we made our way to the dollar desk to be met with a long queue and barely any staff working. We waited for almost an hour to get our car, which is not ideal after spending so long on a plane. It also meant we missed a dinner reservation. The same thing happened when we hired a car in Las Vegas last year, only we had to queue for even longer. Despite the low prices for car hire, I will not be using dollar again. I would rather pay extra and use a company that can handle more customers.
