Bad service
Rented a car in May 2016 from here. I booked a convertible for my bday get there and it wasn't convertible so I upgraded paying more of course. Paid 700$ for 5 days. Returned car no problems but 2 months later I'm getting statements from Avis saying we owed more $??? Wth for? Money was deducted from credit card at time of purchase. If there was problem it should have been addressed when car was returned. Not 2 months later. I called the number on invoice left message that this was incorrect and payment had been paid in full. The lady named QUE" as she said her name was ... Was very very rude. Tried telling her 5 times bill was paid and the mailing address was off lisence but not my physical address. Not to send letters that bad dress any more. She shouted and I shouted it ended up in a really bad conversation. If you know what's best DONT RENT FROM HERE! It's a nightmare.

Unmatched Customer Service at Avis - PGD Airport
I cannot overly praise the level of customer service I received from the Avis car rental company at the Punta Gorda Airport. Pickup and drop off are easy and convenient.
I rented a vehicle for 2 weeks while our group vacationed in Florida. Halfway thru the vacation some of our company went home and I requested a smaller vehicle for the remaining 1 week. John and David could not be more gracious and helpful in making my exchange easy and worry-free. John even left multiple notes for the staff members working the day I picked the vehicle up since it was his day off. The replacement vehicle was top-notch, nearly new, clean and and low mileage. Such a refreshing and wonderful experience.
